BTC Breakout FAQ
Straight answers to the questions people ask before joining BTC Breakout. For customer guides, setup walkthroughs, and technical documentation, see the Help Centre.
What is BTC Breakout?
BTC Breakout is an automated bitcoin trading platform. An annual licence gives you access to a rules-based volatility breakout strategy, delivered as an Expert Advisor (EA) that trades BTCUSD on your own MT4 broker account, with cloud hosting included so nothing runs on your computer. Your funds stay in your own broker account at all times; we are a software provider, not a fund manager. Trading carries risk: you can lose the money you trade.
Is BTC Breakout a trading bot?
The strategy is delivered as an automated system that trades on MT4, but unlike a typical “bot” you download, it runs on our cloud infrastructure: you install nothing, and your computer does not need to stay on. It follows fixed rules, trades only bitcoin, and holds only one trade at a time. It does not use martingale, grid trading, or pyramiding, and it never increases risk during losing periods to chase recovery.
How much does it cost?
The current early adopter price is £1,240 for the first year: a £1,000 annual software licence plus £240 per year cloud hosting. The standard price is £3,480 per year including hosting. The fee is flat: no performance fee, no cut of profits, no monthly subscription. The exact breakdown is always shown at checkout before you pay.
How do I pay?
Payment is made in cryptocurrency through Confirmo, an established crypto payment processor. You are shown the exact amount and address at checkout, and no money changes hands until you complete the transaction. If you start a checkout and change your mind before sending payment, you can cancel the pending order at no cost.
Which brokers can I use?
Each risk profile is paired with a supported MT4 broker chosen for that tier’s execution needs, and some countries use a single broker for all profiles. You don’t need to choose: the guided setup shows you your broker and walks you through opening a standard MT4 live account. The account is in your name, at the broker, and your funds stay there.
What is the minimum deposit?
Minimum broker deposits depend on the risk profile: USD 2,000 each for the low and medium risk profiles, and USD 1,200 for high risk. These are funds deposited into your own broker account, not fees paid to us. If you activate all three profiles you fund three separate MT4 accounts, USD 5,200 in total.
Do you have access to my money?
No. We never hold, receive, or manage client trading funds. The software holds trade-only permissions on your MT4 account: it cannot deposit or withdraw, and only you can move money in or out of your broker account. You stay in control: changing your MT4 password at your broker disconnects the software instantly and halts trading. The only payment you make to BTC Breakout is the licence and hosting fee.
What are the risks?
Trading bitcoin is high risk. The software trades BTCUSD CFDs on leveraged broker accounts: prices are volatile, losing periods and drawdowns are part of any trading system, and past results, live or simulated, do not guarantee future performance. Never trade money you cannot afford to lose. Every customer completes a risk awareness check before trading, and we would rather you walk away than overcommit.
Can I get a refund?
Yes. There is a 7-day refund window from purchase, no questions asked, with refunds paid in USDC on the Ethereum network. One refund per customer; after the 7-day window, refunds are not available. The full terms are in our refund and cancellation policy.
Which countries is BTC Breakout available in?
Most countries are supported, but a number of jurisdictions are blocked for regulatory and sanctions reasons, and eligibility is checked automatically at signup. The full list of restricted countries is in our terms of service.
What are the three risk profiles?
Low, medium, and high. All three run the same strategy; they differ only in position sizing and drawdown tolerance, so higher risk means larger potential swings in both directions. Each profile runs on its own MT4 account with its own minimum deposit, and you can activate one, two, or all three at any time during an active subscription.
How do I get started?
Create an account, complete the short risk awareness check, review and accept the agreements, pay for your licence at checkout, then follow the guided broker setup from your dashboard. Most of the setup is checking and confirming, and support is available at every step if you get stuck.
